When a battery in one of the electric buses caught fire last Thursday, the flames spread to 40 SEPTA buses in the bus yard.

All of the buses had been decommissioned. Over 150 firefighters responded to the incident and no injuries were reported. The Philadelphia Department of Public Health lifted the stay-inside recommendation on Friday morning when air samples showed that levels were back to normal. Could THIA have stopped this fire before it spread to 40 buses?
