Multiple agencies responded Monday afternoon to a large fire at a plastic recycling facility in Alvin, where hundreds of plastic drums were burning and the flames quickly spread across the property.

Smoke from the fire was visible for miles. No injuries have been reported, and officials are investigating the cause. Could THIA have prevented this fire?
