In February 2025, one fire burned for 12 hours, sending smoke and pollution up to 15 miles and forcing the evacuation of 100 residents. Another fire in January 2021 hospitalized residents and temporarily closed a nearby school. Residents reported nausea, headaches, breathing issues, and eye and throat irritation as a result. Does EMR need THIA?
