Today’s innovations in technology sometimes go hand-in hand with new dangers related to fire. Education on potential safety measures should be advocated to raise awareness and create higher standards. Although the number of fire-related deaths has decreased by 42% since 1980, 2022 marks a 33% increase from the record low number of deaths recorded by NFPA in 2012 (2,855). The 2022 civilian fire death toll of 3,790 is only slightly down from the 3,800 total in 2021.

Most problems are known, sadly many solutions are not!

THIA Autonomous Thermal Activity Detection-Suppression (ATAD-S) systems create passive solutions that are customized to meet previously unmet needs. The unique fire suppression systems can be almost infinitely varied depending on the risks at hand. Various devices are customized for each application with expert installation protocols. THIA experts will assess the uniqueness of Application Specific problems to devise a solution from prototyping to mass production.

When thermal activity reaches threatening temperatures, the device can activate at a critical point prior to flame ignition, hence cooling the area to prevent fire and/or detect other mechanical malfunctions with the equipment. To put it simply, if the device activates then temperatures reached a point that the equipment was at high risk of a fire. This a scenario that the device is a thermal activity detector.

Accidental fires can be stopped!
